Talk about a close knit family…

I am not sure which part of this story is stranger, the fact that this couple are father and daughter, the fact that they have a child together, the fact that they brought a child into this world after their first baby died of congenital defects - or the fact that the only thing an Australian court has done about this disgusting relationship is to tell the couple not to have anymore sex.

The Australian news reported that South Australian couple John and Jenny Deaves (pictured here with their daughter, Celeste) have been living as a couple for seven years. They claim that they had fallen in love after being reunited in 2000, with 30 years passing with no contact. However, John Deaves’ second wife stated that Jenny had stayed with them on four separate occasions since she was 15.

Even if no contact occurred for such a long period of time - this is just plain sick! And the best the presiding Judge could think of was to tell them not to have anymore sex - apparently the couple agreed. I wonder if the court ordered in house cameras and chaperones. From the looks on their faces when asked about their sex life, the answer is an obvious no. In thinking up this creative punishment, the judge was quoted saying: “This is not a case where a father has violated his daughter and used his position of authority to take advantage of her powerlessness”.

Somebody get a brain and take this child away from these people before they decide to fall in love with her as well.
